Taste of Buffalo

July 10, 2015 – We’ve been talking about going to Taste of Buffalo for years, and finally got the chance to go on Saturday morning.  We bought the pre-sale ticket vouchers at Tops, and were at the tent 30 minutes early.  By the time things got really crowded at 12:30 we were almost finished, which worked well since neither of us are fans of the slow body-to-body crowd shuffle.

Highlights included barbecue moink balls (beef and bacon meatballs – which were fantastic), peanut butter cheesecake pie, jerk chicken with rice (this was fantastic, and probably our favorite dish), small pieces of fried dough dusted in powdered sugar, truffle tortellini, chicken and home made potato chips topped with cheese (think: nachos, but not really), and risotto on a stick with roasted red pepper remoulade.
